Ba’sik

Ba’sik is a fantastic, laid back bar that’s perfect for those times when you want great drinks, minus the fuss.  It’s located just off the Graham Street L train stop for easy access and boasts a large back patio which is clutch for summertime day drinking.  Ba’sik also offers substantial bar snacks (we’re partial to the Wisconsin Hot Dog with cheese, house mustard & onion) and yummy brunch items like gourmet pop-tarts from Brooklyn’s Magpies.  Sometimes there are tiki-themed nights, and other times there is live music.  Oh, and cocktails are $10 each.  Can you say “steal”?  Highly recommend.

Who: group of friends or a low key date

What: there’s something for everyone on the short, rotating menu of original creations – we’ve never been steered wrong here and the bar staff know their classics too

When: we especially love it for weekend day drinking … into night drinking

Pro tip: The hot dogs make for great late night drinking food
