Walking down Rivington Street, it's easy to pass Nitecap, a basement level bar next to Schapiro's restaurant. This new addition to the neighborhood is the work of Alex Day and David Kaplan of Death & Co and Natasha David of Maison Premiere. The space seats about 40 guests and has a dark, lounge feel, perfect for a date or final stop before heading home

Booker and Dax

Booker and Dax is bringing cocktails into the 21st Century, complete with liquid nitrogen to cool the glasses, red hot pokers to heat drinks in winter and centrifuges to clarify juices, among other things.
