Free Sherry Tasting
Love sherry? Been seeing it on drink menus but have no idea what the heck it means? Read about it in Victorian literature or heard about it from your grandmother?
No matter how you feel about sherry, we hope you’ll join us for a tasting on June 3rd to explore this unique and delicious beverage. We’ve organized a tasting of 6 exciting sherries together with Talia Baiocchi, editor in chief of PUNCH, and author of the forthcoming book Sherry (Ten Speed Press, October 14). We’ll be tapping into a network of tasters – including some of the actual sherry producers – who will be sampling the same sherries at exactly the same time across Europe—all using the hashtag #SherryTT.
So take a long lunch break—or just take the whole day off—and come to Momofuku Ko to sample the full sherry spectrum, from bone-dry to sweet and really everything in between.

The event is being held with support from International Sherry Week, taking place June 2-8 worldwide. We will be tasting sherries digitally alongside Ruben Luyten, author of the Sherry Notes blog in Belgium, and a collection of bloggers, enthusiasts and novices alike. Can’t make it in person?
