Perhaps better known for its wine list than its cocktails, Hearth also makes a mean cocktail. The drinks are all original creations and are named after historical New York figures, such as Hell Cat Maggie, a notorious member of the Dead Rabbits gang in 1840s New York, or William ‘Boss’ Tweed, an equally infamous figure in the city’s corrupt politics. Order one before sampling some of Chef Marco Canora’s delicious Italian-inspired cuisine, or stop in for an aperitif or a nightcap at the small bar up front. This is a great spot for a romantic, grown-up date, for visiting friends and family, or solo dining at the bar.
