Peels – NOW CLOSED

The Noho outpost of the Freeman’s team, they mix up yummy drinks in addition to very solid food options.  We like it for brunch cocktails or for casual dinner and drinks.  Cozy up to the bar downstairs if you’re alone or a deux, or head upstairs to the airy dining room to sit in a capacious booth.  When the weather’s nice there are also a few tables outside.  You can watch a fun video about one of the “chattractive” bartenders here, and learn about their drink the New York Shrub too.

Who: Fun group of friends, casual date, or a nice brunch option for the previous evening’s partner

What: We especially like their Bloody Marys for weekend brunch, and the Shaddock’s Fizz with Aperol, St Germain, grapefruit and champagne isn’t bad either

When: Weekend brunch, or a casual lunch or dinner during the week

Good for: Dinner plus drinks – Boozy brunch – Low key date – Groups – Hipster watching – Outdoor seating

Reservations: Accepted; brunch reservations for parties of 6+
Max Group Size: 20 (for eating, with a reservation)
Food: Full Kitchen   |   Wine: Yes  |   Beer: Yes
