Boozy brunch

Saxon + Parole

A see and be seen place in the East Village with pretty good food and a solid bar program – including an epic Bloody Mary brunch on the weekends – Saxon + Parole is a good place to grab drinks before dinner, either there or somewhere else nearby.  The bar runs the length of one wall, and features an enormous ice block that the bartenders chip away at all night.   The drinks range from classic – the Seelbach – to quirky – Pickled Ramp Gibson anyone? – with a lot in between, and the entire list was designed by Naren Young, who’s also behind The Daily just down the road.  Madame Geneva, and old standby, is also located right next door.

Good for: Drinks plus dinner – Casual drinks – Low key date – Boozy brunch – Outdoor seating
